Roberta Pizza & Pasta
About This Spot
Stepping into Roberta Pizza & Pasta feels like being welcomed into a warm Italian home, tucked quietly into the rhythm of Fort Lauderdale. There’s an unhurried calm that encourages you to slow down, savoring each moment as if it belongs solely to this shared table of friends and family. The hum of conversation blends with the subtle aroma of fresh bread, still warm from the oven—a gentle invitation to settle in.
This isn’t a place for rushing; it’s a space where time softens and flavors unfold naturally, much like the care seen in every dish served. The pace is comfortable, fostering a relaxed atmosphere where genuine smiles come as easily as the first sip of a carefully paired wine or the bright tang of a blood orange soda brought from a favorite bottle. As a BYOB spot, it invites you not just to dine but to curate your own experience, enhancing the feeling that you’re sharing a meal among friends who have thoughtfully set the table just for you.
The dishes here are quietly confident in their authenticity—the kind of food that suggests stories and memories without shouting for attention. The homey touch reveals itself in plates that balance hearty tradition with a lightness rarely captured outside Italy: soft gnocchi bathed in rich Bolognese, vibrant veggie pizzas with a crisp crust, and delicate pasta that carries the sea’s essence in every bite. The desserts linger in the mind long after the last forkful—a velvety tiramisu or a subtly sweet profiterole that rounds out the meal with an elegant whisper.
Behind it all, Roberta and her husband bring a personal grace to the experience—a gentle reminder that this place lives in the heart of its owners just as much as it lives in the flavors and textures on your plate. The care extends from the kitchen to the table, where genuine hospitality creates moments that feel quietly special. Whether here for a leisurely date night or a comforting meal shared among regulars, this little spot offers more than food; it’s a tender connection back to Italy’s soulful traditions, nestled into the local pulse of Fort Lauderdale.

Roberta's is a gem of a restaurant! This husband and wife team transport you to Italy while making you feel like family! A phenomenal date night spot. We eat here at least once a month. The bread they greet you with is fresh out of the over and deliciously sets the tone for the meal. This restaurant is BYOB at no extra charge, you are highly encouraged to bring your own bottle of wine to enjoy! I highly recommend the Spaghetti Vongole. I'm pescatarian and dairy-free and this dish perfectly meets my needs. My boyfriend's favorite is the Penne Al Salmone! Not to mention the delicious specials. Roberta's hospitality always makes the meal!

Roberta, the owner is so kind and genuine. She takes pride in her food and will greet you with a huge smile. The food is home cooked and absolutely delicious. The best Italian around. It's a husband and wife who operate the entire restaurant so don't come here in a hurry. This is a place to relax, enjoy the culture, and have a nice time with friends or family. I'll definitely be back!

As an Italian myself, I can say that it’s rare to find an authentic Italian restaurant and this place really is amazing and authentic. I will come back here every single time I am in town. The food was incredible and the service was amazing!

Roberta’s is a tucked-away gem that shouldn’t be missed! Authentic Italian food lovingly prepared and served by Roberta herself. Don’t be in a rush, bring your own wine, and enjoy! ( and ask for a second basket of her delicious bread!)

This is the only true authentic Italian restaurant I’ve found in the United States. I’ve eaten at many other Italian restaurants and even reframed going to any in the U.S. until I came across this gem. This one stands out as genuinely authentic, just like the restaurants in Italy. The food doesn’t feel heavy; it’s light, just like the cuisines in Italy. That’s how I know they’re using authentic Italian ingredients. The lemon chicken and spinach was phenomenal along with their lobster ravioli and lasagna.

What an absolute charming restaurant! The service was excellent, and the waitress (I'm assuming the owner) had an amazing personality! Even the other patrons within the restaurant were nice, I ended up talking to some other patrons as if old friends! It's just a wonderful, wholesome vibe... Now to food... first off, I love bread, fresh, warm, flooofy bread. It was bomb. The entree was yummy too, chicken spinach pasta with a cream sauce. Everything was amazing, I now see why they have so many amazing reviews! And they were very reasonably priced!

I had an amazing time at this establishment. I was drawn to this restaurant because we share the same name and were pleased with the customer service and food. Will definitely go back next time I'm in town.
